5 Decor Dupes You Need In 2023

I love designer fixtures, rugs, name it. There's something sort of exciting about walking into a room and seeing a high-end showstopper there in all of its glory. But, as much as I love to dream about what life would be like if I could design with no budget restrictions, that's just not realistic! So, as a designer who loves dreamy home furnishings and a woman who loves a good bargain hunt, I'm bringing you a few of my favorite decor dupes that you NEED to check out for your home this year!

Just here for the designer dish and ready to bankroll some amazing pieces? Don't worry, I'm sharing links to both the designer AND the dupe so you can shop these finds however, whenever, and wherever you like!

The Conical Drum Pendant by Rejuvenation is such a versatile light fixture because it works in both large and small spaces and it's got a style that looks both casual and elegant. However, the $629 price tag makes it less than desirable for those who are working with a tighter budget. That's where this stellar Amazon find comes in! This look-a-like pendant is the perfect dupe for that ever-so-fabulous fixture you're swooning over with an even more swoon-worthy price tag of $129!

The next favorite find on my list is one that I'm pretty excited to share because I LOVE rugs. In fact, I may have a slight obsession with them, to be honest. But, I can't help it! A good rug can totally transform a room. It can ground the space, define areas in open concept spaces, add color and texture, and provide noise-reducing qualities - especially in large spaces. When I saw this gorgeous neutral rug from Lulu & Georgia, I knew I loved it. But, with a price point of $599, I knew it was a little too much for the budget my client had in mind. And let's be honest - it's a cream rug. So if it's going to be used in a heavy-traffic area, then it's probably going to need some extra attention. Real talk, ya'll. Most busy Mamas don't have time to constantly be cleaning the rug (am I right or am I right?!). What they do have the budget and the time for, however, is this awesome dupe! At a price point of nearly $300 less, this lovely lady from Boutique Rugs (one of my all-time favorite places to shop for rugs) came in under budget and allowed us to splurge on some other decor for her design - so that was win #1. Win #2 was that not only did I find her a beautiful alternative, but I found her a beautiful alternative that is WASHABLE. Every Mom's dream word. Washable. You're welcome.

Ok, THIS ONE... Let me just say, when I saw this I became ridiculously excited (well, I'm always excited about design, but this was extra). We have all seen the commercials and heard all the things about the ever-so-famous Lovesac "sactional". It's a great concept for those with transitioning spaces, growing families, and military families who aren't sure what the house at their next duty station is going to look like (been there!). However, most of the people who come to me asking about this sectional end up with sticker shock and disappointment when I tell them it's just not in the budget. At a price point of $5k, this modular marvel doesn't have people with kids and a tight budget reaching for their wallets. The dupe? Now that one has people asking me "How soon can I get that?!" and practically throwing money at their computer screen. Check out this Wayfair find below!

One of the best space-saving tips that I share with clients and followers alike is to "think vertical". A good bit of my clients and audience are looking for storage solutions and ways to stay organized in smaller spaces or oddly shaped rooms. Ladder shelves are a great way to accomplish an updated look with both style and function. I recently stumbled upon this Holgate Shelf by Rejuvenation when paging through their catalog and was surprised to see the price at a whopping $1040. Now, I'm not saying there aren't differences between theirs and the dupe I found, I'm just saying I don't think the difference is worth the $911. Yup. The dupe is a literal fraction of the price at $129, comes with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty, and if you've got Amazon Prime (does anyone NOT have Amazon Prime these days?) it will be delivered within a few days. For free. I think I can just stop there.

Last, but not least - the faux tree find. These lazy-girl-approved perfect perennials are all the rage lately. If you don't have a green thumb or simply don't have the time to care for one more living thing in your house - this is for you. I'm loving this faux olive tree from Crate&Barrel, but the price tag made me pump the brakes. When I saw this delicious dupe from Nearly Natural that was less than HALF the price, I knew I had to check it out. I did. I'm not sorry. You won't be either.
